DR-Spine-Chiropractor

This depends on your definition of “cure.”  To a medical oncologist, a “cure” for cancer means that the malignant tumors or loci have been inactive for five years.  But when the cancer comes back in six years, is it really cured?  Not really.  “Cure” is relative to time, because no doctor can permanently cure anything – only the life force within the body can do this.  A chiropractic cure is however, follows a different path since it allows our bodies to heal themselves.

Like other doctors, Chiropractors aim to alleviate symptoms and reduce morbidity and pain, whether it be for months or years.  Unlike most other doctors, however, a Chiropractor seeks to address the underlying causes of these pains and symptoms, primarily as it affects the spine and nervous system.  Chiropractors aim to work with a patient’s body and life force to affect the underlying structural dynamics and bring about long-lasting relief.

Also like other doctors, a Chiropractor can only do as well as the patient allows.  If a patient, for example, does not finish a course of antibiotics prescribed by his or her medical doctor, the underlying infection may return and be worse than ever.  Similarly, if a patient with a back or neck problem chooses to forgo office visits to his or her Chiropractor, the body will not have a chance to adapt to the new (i.e., more balanced) spinal alignment, so the misalignment and pain will return. A chiropractic cure, in this becomes far from reality.

If you have a chronic back, neck, low back or hip problem, Chiropractic is often the most effective, least invasive and least expensive solution.  The often-advised medical solution – surgery – should be the last resort.  Chiropractic is your best first option for these chronic conditions since it can often prevent surgery.

If surgery is necessary, however, your Chiropractor will be most qualified to determine this need. Congue eu consequat ac felis donec et.
